How AdWin cut CPA 15% and reporting time 75%

THE CHALLENGE

Every analysis began with an endless export-upload-repeat loop

AdWin is a Google & Meta Ads specialist working with e-commerce and lead-generation clients, B2C and B2B, primarily in Italy. The bottleneck was never the thinking, it was the manual data work in front of it. For every analysis or report, the team had to export CSVs account by account, load them into a generic AI tool, and rebuild everything by hand. Export this, upload that, export the next one, slow and repetitive, and worst of all on large accounts and recurring reporting.

The workarounds before GoMarble

Manual CSV exports fed into a generic AI tool, plus a few Looker Studio dashboards. The Looker Meta connectors were paid and, since AdWin works mostly on Google, often weren’t worth the cost. What was missing was simple: fast access to data already in the context of the account, without reloading everything by hand every time.

AdWin uses GoMarble on three concrete fronts: monthly client reports ready to send; quick keyword volume and cost estimates to build Google Ads quotes; and reading huge accounts, where GoMarble clusters related keywords and search terms to make readable in minutes what used to take hours by hand.

For an anonymised client, a maritime travel comparator spending over half a million euros a year, with more than 70 active campaigns and thousands of often-overlapping keywords, AdWin used GoMarble to analyse the account structure and cluster related keywords and search terms. It exposed where campaigns on the same routes were overlapping, and the wasted budget that came with it. The recommendation: restructure the account, reallocating budget route by route.

What manual review would have buried

That cross-campaign overlap was the find. By hand, the team would have had to open all 70+ campaigns one by one, work out which route each targeted, and cross-reference them to spot the collisions. GoMarble made it clear in minutes where campaigns were competing with each other and where budget was leaking.

Speed to data, not automation of judgement

AdWin works mostly on the Google side. The change is about speed and access: the audit is still the product of the team’s own reasoning, not automation, but getting to the data is far faster, so they start from the right hypotheses sooner instead of losing time extracting and cleaning numbers.

THE OUTCOME

The comparator restructure: ~10% wasted budget recovered, CPA down 15%

Acting on GoMarble’s analysis, AdWin removed around 10% of wasted budget on the comparator account and reinvested it into the best-performing campaigns. The route-by-route restructuring brought average CPA down 15%.

And the manual loop that started every project is gone:

– Large-account audits down from a good half-day to a couple of hours, ready to deliver

– 10 accounts run in parallel, always full, including accounts spending over €500K a year

– Complex accounts that were hard to read by hand are finally manageable

– Time once lost to data extraction now goes into analysis and decisions

Faster client conversations

Access to data is now instant. If a client asks for, say, the performance difference between Q2 2026 and Q2 2025, the team used to open the platform, filter the dates, build the comparison and copy the numbers out. Now they just ask GoMarble, often right inside Claude, and get the answer.
