What is MCP for PPC?
MCP is the Model Context Protocol — an open standard that lets an AI client call external tools and read external data in a structured way.
GoMarble MCP is an MCP server that connects supported AI clients to marketing data and workflows in GoMarble. For PPC that means reaching both Google Ads and Microsoft Ads, with campaigns, ad groups, keywords, search terms, bids, budgets and change history all queryable from one conversation.
PPC is the discipline where connected AI pays off fastest, because search exposes more than paid social does. Search terms are visible, keyword economics are inspectable, match types are knowable and the change log is readable. Most PPC questions are precise queries waiting to be written — which is exactly the work an assistant with GAQL access can take off you.

GoMarble MCP workflows for PPC
Jobs marketers actually want done, rather than features. Each one is a single natural-language request.
Mine search terms for waste
“Which search terms are spending without converting?”
What GoMarble MCP does: Queries the search term view across both engines for the period, joins cost and conversion data, and isolates terms with meaningful spend and no return.
What you get: Negative keyword candidates ranked by money wasted, with their campaigns and ad groups named.
Build a negative keyword list
“Build me a negative keyword list from the last 60 days of search terms.”
What GoMarble MCP does: Analyses search terms for irrelevance and waste, groups them into themes, and proposes a structured list rather than a flat dump.
What you get: A proposed negative list organised by theme, ready to review and approve.
Decide whether to raise bids or budgets
“Am I losing impression share to budget or to rank?”
What GoMarble MCP does: Queries impression share alongside lost impression share by budget and by rank, at campaign and ad group level.
What you get: Which constraint is binding — which decides whether the answer is more money or better bids and quality.
Find keywords carrying cost without return
“Which keywords have the highest spend and the worst conversion rate?”
What GoMarble MCP does: Queries keyword-level cost, clicks, conversions and conversion rate with a volume floor so conclusions are not drawn from noise.
What you get: The keywords worth pausing, re-matching or restructuring, with the numbers behind each.
Compare paid against organic
“Which terms am I paying for that I already rank well on organically?”
What GoMarble MCP does: Reads paid query performance and joins it to Search Console query, click and position data for the same terms.
What you get: Where paid spend is buying traffic organic already earns — a recurring and easily missed saving.
Diagnose a CPA move
“What caused CPA to increase this week?”
What GoMarble MCP does: Compares periods, separates cost-side from conversion-side movement, then drills by campaign, ad group, keyword, device and geography.
What you get: The mechanism and the location of the change rather than the headline number.
Compare Google against Microsoft
“How does Microsoft Ads compare to Google for the same keywords?”
What GoMarble MCP does: Pulls both engines on the same window and normalises for their different volume and cost profiles.
What you get: Whether Microsoft is underfunded or genuinely weaker for your terms.
Research a new campaign
“Find keyword ideas for [topic] and tell me which are worth targeting.”
What GoMarble MCP does: Runs keyword discovery for the seed, pulls volume and competition, and assesses intent against what you sell.
What you get: A candidate keyword set grouped by intent with the metrics attached.

Why use GoMarble MCP for PPC?
An API gives AI access to data. GoMarble MCP gives it the marketing context and workflows needed to work with that data.
The query gets written for you
Most PPC questions are precise queries. GAQL access means the assistant composes the one your question needs instead of you building another report.
Search terms are where the money is
The largest recoverable waste in paid search sits in search terms. They are directly queryable here alongside the cost and conversion data that makes them actionable.
Both engines, one conversation
Google and Microsoft are usually managed separately and compared rarely. On one connection the comparison becomes a question rather than a project.
Paid meets organic
Search Console sits on the same connection, so paid spend can be checked against the terms you already rank for.
Writes are governed
Negative lists, bid modifiers and structures are proposed and routed through approval gates rather than applied directly.
GoMarble MCP for cross-platform marketing analysis
Marketers rarely decide anything from one platform. GoMarble MCP can give AI a view of the wider marketing system rather than forcing it to reason from one disconnected source at a time.
| Combination | What becomes answerable |
|---|---|
| Google + Microsoft Ads | Compare the two engines on the same keywords and find where Microsoft is underfunded relative to its efficiency. |
| Paid search + Search Console | Find queries you pay for and already rank on, and spot where paid and organic cannibalise each other. |
| Paid search + GA4 | Join clicks to on-site behaviour, which separates a query-intent problem from a landing-page problem. |
| Paid search + Shopify | Read keyword and campaign performance against actual store revenue and product margin. |
| Paid search + Meta | See the interaction where paid social demand generation shows up later as branded search volume. |
How does GoMarble MCP work?
| Step | What happens |
|---|---|
| 1 | You ask a question in natural language |
| 2 | The AI client works out what information it needs |
| 3 | GoMarble MCP retrieves the relevant marketing data and tools |
| 4 | GoMarble supplies the marketing context around it |
| 5 | The AI analyses the result |
| 6 | You get an answer, a recommendation, a report — or a proposed action |
Write access is plan-dependent. On the read-only plan you can connect a client and analyse supported accounts without making changes. Where write access is enabled, changes are proposed rather than applied directly — every write tool in the server is a propose call, and consequential actions route through the permissions and approval gates configured for your workspace.
Who is GoMarble MCP for?
PPC managers
Query the account precisely without writing GAQL or waiting on a report build.
Paid search specialists
Work search terms and keyword economics conversationally, where the recoverable waste actually is.
Agencies with search-led books
Run the same search-term and impression-share review across many accounts.
In-house acquisition teams
Diagnose a CPA move and establish whether budget or rank is the binding constraint in one sitting.
Ecommerce teams running Shopping
Read product and query performance against store revenue rather than platform conversions alone.
GoMarble MCP vs traditional PPC workflows
| Traditional workflow | With GoMarble MCP |
|---|---|
| Build a report or write GAQL by hand | Ask the question and let the assistant write the query |
| Download the search terms report and filter it | Ask which terms are wasting spend |
| Assemble a negative list manually | Propose the list from the data, then approve it |
| Manage Google and Microsoft separately | Compare both engines in one question |
| Check Search Console in another tab | Compare paid and organic together |
| Repeat the same weekly keyword review | Re-run the same prompt |
