MCP for Microsoft Ads (Bing)

GoMarble MCP connects AI assistants to Microsoft Advertising, letting them read accounts, campaigns, ad groups, ads, keywords, budgets, performance and change history, and research keyword ideas, using natural language.

Read-only — and genuinely useful precisely because Microsoft Ads is the channel nobody checks as often as they should.

GoMarble MCP workflows for Microsoft Ads

Jobs marketers actually want done, rather than features. Each one is a single natural-language request.

Check the channel nobody checks

“How is Microsoft Ads performing this month?”

What GoMarble MCP does: Pulls account and campaign performance and summarises it — for most teams, the first proper look in weeks.

What you get:

Compare against Google

“How does Microsoft Ads CPA compare to Google this month?”

What GoMarble MCP does: Pulls both from the same connection and compares like for like, flagging where volume is too low to read.

What you get:

Find wasted keyword spend

“Which Microsoft keywords are spending with no conversions?”

What GoMarble MCP does: Reads keyword-level performance and lists spend without return.

What you get:

Review budget pacing

“Are any Microsoft campaigns capped by budget?”

What GoMarble MCP does: Compares budgets against delivery and flags campaigns constrained by money rather than demand.

What you get:

Explain a change

“What changed in the Microsoft account over the last month?”

What GoMarble MCP does: Reads the change history and lines edits up against the dates performance moved.

What you get:

Find expansion terms

“What keyword ideas should I consider for this ad group?”

What GoMarble MCP does: Pulls keyword ideas and filters them against what is already running.

What you get:

Audit ad copy

“Show me the ads running in my top-spending ad groups”

What GoMarble MCP does: Lists live ads, so you see what is actually running rather than what you remember approving.

Why use GoMarble MCP for Microsoft Ads?

An API gives AI access to data. GoMarble MCP gives it the marketing context and workflows needed to work with that data.

GoMarble MCP for cross-platform marketing analysis

Marketers rarely decide anything from one platform. GoMarble MCP can give AI a view of the wider marketing system rather than forcing it to reason from one disconnected source at a time.

CombinationWhat becomes answerable

How does GoMarble MCP work?

StepWhat happens
1You ask a question in natural language
2The AI client works out what information it needs
3GoMarble MCP retrieves the relevant marketing data and tools
4GoMarble supplies the marketing context around it
5The AI analyses the result
6You get an answer, a recommendation, a report — or a proposed action

Write access is plan-dependent. On the read-only plan you can connect a client and analyse supported accounts without making changes. Where write access is enabled, changes are proposed rather than applied directly — every write tool in the server is a propose call, and consequential actions route through the permissions and approval gates configured for your workspace.

Who is GoMarble MCP for?

Search marketers

Keep Microsoft in the weekly review without it costing a separate export.

Agencies

Report on Microsoft alongside Google without a second tool or a second login.

In-house PPC leads

Spot wasted keyword spend on a channel that rarely gets a dedicated session.

Frequently asked questions

What is MCP for Microsoft Ads?
It means connecting an AI client such as Claude or ChatGPT to your Microsoft Advertising data through the Model Context Protocol, so the assistant can read campaigns, ad groups, ads, keywords, budgets, performance and change history directly. GoMarble hosts the server.
Is it Bing Ads or Microsoft Ads?
Same platform — Microsoft renamed Bing Ads to Microsoft Advertising. People still search for both, so both names appear here, and the connection is the same either way.
Can it make changes to my campaigns?
No. Microsoft Ads is read-only on this connection — there are no write tools, so nothing can be paused, edited or launched through it. Write access currently exists for Meta, Google and TikTok.
Can it do keyword research?
Yes, it can pull keyword ideas, which is useful for expansion against what is already running. It is research rather than implementation — adding the keywords still happens in the platform.
Which AI clients work with it?
Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, n8n, Hermes and OpenClaw. The same server URL works for all of them.
What does the free plan allow?
Read and analysis only, one account per data source, and a cap of $50,000 in cumulative ad spend. Since Microsoft Ads is read-only here anyway, the free plan covers the full experience for this channel.
Why connect Microsoft Ads at all?
Because it is usually the channel nobody checks. It rarely justifies its own tool or its own weekly session, so waste accumulates quietly. Having it answerable in the same place as Google is what gets it looked at.
Do I need a Microsoft developer app?
No. App registration and token handling sit on our side. You connect the account in GoMarble and point your AI client at the server.
