What is MCP for marketing analytics?
MCP is the Model Context Protocol — an open standard that lets an AI client call external tools and read external data in a structured way.
GoMarble MCP is an MCP server that connects supported AI clients to marketing data and workflows in GoMarble. For analytics that means GA4, Search Console, Meta, Google, TikTok, LinkedIn, Bing, Shopify and Klaviyo, all reachable from one conversation.
Marketing analytics has a structural problem that MCP addresses directly: the data needed to answer a question almost never lives in one place. A conversion-rate drop might be a traffic-mix change in GA4, a query-intent shift in Search Console, a creative change in an ad account, or a checkout problem in the store. Querying each in turn is how the afternoon disappears. GoMarble MCP puts them in one context so the investigation can follow the evidence rather than the tool boundaries.
How to connect marketing analytics to GoMarble MCP
Connecting your analytics stack to GoMarble MCP takes a few steps. Connect each source once, then query across all of them.
- Connect your analytics and marketing sources — GA4, Search Console, ad platforms, Shopify, Klaviyo — to GoMarble.
- Connect GoMarble MCP to your preferred supported AI client.
- Authorize the access GoMarble requests.
- Choose the GoMarble workspace and properties the client can use.
- Start asking questions that span sources.
Connecting to Claude
The current steps, from the GoMarble MCP page:
- Open Settings, then Connectors.
- Choose Add custom connector.
- Enter https://apps.gomarble.ai/mcp-api/sse, then select Authorize.
- Choose the GoMarble workspace and accounts Claude can use.
Authorization uses GoMarble’s consent and workspace permissions, completed in the browser window your client opens.
Other supported clients
GoMarble MCP is a remote MCP server at https://apps.gomarble.ai/mcp-api/sse, currently supported in Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, n8n, Hermes and OpenClaw, plus other clients that support compatible remote or local MCP servers. Setup differs slightly per client, so follow the canonical instructions rather than adapting the Claude steps.

GoMarble MCP workflows for marketing analytics
Jobs marketers actually want done, rather than features. Each one is a single natural-language request.
Investigate a conversion-rate drop
“Our conversion rate dropped last week. What happened?”
What GoMarble MCP does: Reads GA4 traffic mix, channel composition and on-site behaviour for both periods, checks whether paid traffic shifted, and compares against store-side orders.
What you get: Whether the cause was traffic mix, on-site behaviour, a channel change or measurement — with the evidence for each.
Separate mix shift from real change
“Did our performance actually get worse, or did the traffic mix change?”
What GoMarble MCP does: Holds channel composition constant and recomputes the metric, then compares against the observed figure.
What you get: A clear answer on whether the move was efficiency or composition, which are frequently confused.
Trace paid traffic to revenue
“Are my paid visitors actually converting and spending?”
What GoMarble MCP does: Joins ad-platform click and spend data to GA4 behaviour and Shopify orders for the same period.
What you get: What paid traffic does after the click, rather than what the platform claims it did.
Compare paid and organic on the same queries
“Which queries am I paying for that I already rank on?”
What GoMarble MCP does: Reads Search Console query performance and joins it to paid search terms for the same window.
What you get: Where paid and organic overlap, and where paid spend is buying traffic you already earn.
Check whether a drop is a tracking problem
“Are we actually down, or is something broken in tracking?”
What GoMarble MCP does: Compares recorded conversions and events against store-side orders and looks for a break in event volume rather than a gradual decline.
What you get: Whether to investigate marketing or instrumentation — the step that prevents a week of optimising a phantom.
Analyse landing-page performance
“Which landing pages are underperforming for their traffic?”
What GoMarble MCP does: Reads page-level GA4 behaviour and conversion data alongside Search Console query and position data for the same URLs.
What you get: The pages losing users relative to the intent arriving at them.
Track a trend before it is obvious
“What's trending in the wrong direction that I haven't noticed?”
What GoMarble MCP does: Compares recent periods across traffic, conversion, spend and revenue and flags metrics with consistent directional drift.
What you get: Early movement rather than a problem that has already cost a quarter.
Build a funnel summary
“Summarise the full funnel this month — traffic, conversion and revenue.”
What GoMarble MCP does: Pulls GA4, Search Console, ad platforms and store data for the period and compares against the prior one.
What you get: One summary across the funnel with the notable movements explained.

Why use GoMarble MCP for marketing analytics?
An API gives AI access to data. GoMarble MCP gives it the marketing context and workflows needed to work with that data.
One question, several sources
Analytics questions cross datasets by nature. Connecting GA4, Search Console, ad platforms and store data separately leaves the joining to you, which is where the time goes.
Custom reports on demand
GA4's value is in the dimensions and metrics you combine. GoMarble MCP lets the assistant assemble the report a question needs rather than working from a saved one.
Measurement problems become visible
A drop that is actually a tracking fault looks identical to a real decline inside a single tool. Comparing against store-side data is what distinguishes them.
Root cause, not just charts
Following evidence from traffic to behaviour to revenue is the investigation. A dashboard renders each stage but cannot walk between them.
Warehouse when you need it
BigQuery and Snowflake are on the same connection for the questions that outgrow the platform reports.
GoMarble MCP for cross-platform marketing analysis
Marketers rarely decide anything from one platform. GoMarble MCP can give AI a view of the wider marketing system rather than forcing it to reason from one disconnected source at a time.
| Combination | What becomes answerable |
|---|---|
| GA4 + ad platforms | See what paid traffic does after the click rather than what each platform claims it did. |
| GA4 + Shopify | Join on-site behaviour to actual orders and revenue, which is the denominator that matters. |
| Search Console + Google Ads | Compare paid and organic on the same queries and find overlap worth eliminating. |
| GA4 + Klaviyo | Follow acquisition through to email engagement and repeat purchase. |
| Everything + BigQuery or Snowflake | Drop to the warehouse for questions the platform reports cannot express. |
How does GoMarble MCP work?
| Step | What happens |
|---|---|
| 1 | You ask a question in natural language |
| 2 | The AI client works out what information it needs |
| 3 | GoMarble MCP retrieves the relevant marketing data and tools |
| 4 | GoMarble supplies the marketing context around it |
| 5 | The AI analyses the result |
| 6 | You get an answer, a recommendation, a report — or a proposed action |
Write access is plan-dependent. On the read-only plan you can connect a client and analyse supported accounts without making changes. Where write access is enabled, changes are proposed rather than applied directly — every write tool in the server is a propose call, and consequential actions route through the permissions and approval gates configured for your workspace.
