Tech & Wearables Black Friday adswhat 22 brands ran, and why
39 distinct Black Friday and Cyber Monday creatives from 22 tech & wearables brands, sorted by format, angle, hook, offer and timing. Every quote is verbatim from the ad. Use it to plan your 2026 sale.
Methodology
Meta ads from GoMarble's ad library that mention Black Friday or Cyber Monday, run between 2025-10-25 and 2025-12-03. Duplicates (same creative re-run per market or size) count once; no brand contributes more than four. Angle, hook, offer and timing are classified by hand from each ad's own copy. Public libraries publish no spend or results, so nothing here is ranked by performance.

The tech & wearables BFCM mix
How the 39 creatives split by format.
Read this first
In this tech set the discount is usually not a percentage. 24 of the 39 creatives state no percent at all, and 11 of those name a money amount or a price instead: $100 off the Luna Ring with a time-boxed code, £50 off Fiido e-bikes with BFCM50, $50 off Playermaker, $120 off Sony WH-1000XM5 at Sweetwater, $400 off a MAINGEAR PC, three AlphaGear smartwatches for $199. Where a percent does appear it is moderate: the median is 25% and 12 of the 15 stated percentages sit in the 20–39% band; only Jackery's power stations go past 50%. The sale is rarely the whole message, either. Product-first is the most common angle (11 of 39), with specs, use cases and the problem solved carrying the ad and Black Friday as the tag.
How tech & wearables differs from other industries
- Money off, not percent off: 11 of 39 creatives lead with a currency amount or bundle price (Luna "$100 Off", Sweetwater "Save $120", Fiido "£50", AlphaGear "3 Smartwatch FOR ONLY $199"), and only 15 state a percentage at all.
- The product still does the selling: product-first is the top angle (11 of 39). Jackery lists capacity and output, MAINGEAR's voiceovers name the CPU and GPU, KeySmart explains Apple Find My, and the Black Friday line sits under them.
- The sale is split into timed windows that run past Black Friday: Luna runs a comment-to-be-reminded teaser, a 9 am–12 pm PST Black Friday code and a separate Cyber Monday code, while Jackery's "Black Friday Encore", Fiido's "Offer Ends 5 Dec!" and Nava's "ends soon" push into December. 12 of 39 ads are Cyber Monday or extended-phase.

Where in the sale each ad sat
Read from each ad's own copy: "early access", "ends tonight", "Cyber Monday" and so on. Teaser and early-access ads are under-counted, because many had stopped running by the end of the sale.

Patterns worth stealing for BFCM 2026
What we'd take from these ads into a tech & wearables brand's 2026 sale.
Put the money amount in the headline
On higher-priced gear, the ads here name the cash saving rather than a percent: "Black Friday Sale LIVE: $100 Off" (Luna), "Save $120 on Sony WH-1000XM5" (Sweetwater), "Black Friday Early Deal: $50 OFF Playermaker". If your percent would look small, try stating the amount.
Keep the spec sheet in the sale ad
Jackery's Black Friday copy still lists "3072Wh capacity & 3600W output" and how long it keeps a fridge running; MAINGEAR's videos name the Ryzen and RTX parts before mentioning $400 off. Product-first was the most common angle in this set, so give buyers the reason to buy, not just the discount.
Name the problem before the price
Several ads open on a problem: blackouts and spoiled food (Jackery), a lost wallet (KeySmart), an iPhone 17 that "already scratched" (BURGA), practising "off-beat" (Soundbrenner), runners in traffic (Noise). The offer lands after the viewer recognises themselves.
Run timed drops, each with its own code
The Luna Zone ran a teaser asking people to comment 'LUNA' for a reminder, then a three-hour Black Friday window with code LUNABFS, a BFS20 code, and a separate Cyber Monday code LUNACMF. Separate windows and codes give you several "it's live" moments instead of one.
Let a reviewer's voice carry the deal
Six ads use a creator or reviewer voice: Soundbrenner's "what if i told you they were only $93?", KeySmart's "This Black Friday deal is insane", MAINGEAR's "stop scrolling", and creator posts for CASETiFY and RingConn with their own codes. Tech buyers hear the recommendation from someone who has used the product.
Plan the post-Black Friday leg
Jackery relabelled its sale "Black Friday Encore", Fiido counted down to 5 December, Nava Bands ran "Last chance" and "ends soon" lines, and Marshall, Nudient and Sweetwater made separate Cyber Monday / Cyber Week creatives. Brief extension creatives before the sale starts.

FAQ
What kind of Black Friday ads do tech & wearables brands run?
In this sample of 39 distinct creatives from 22 brands, the most common angle was Product-First (28% of ads) and the most common format was Single Video (41%).
How big are tech & wearables Black Friday discounts?
Where an ad stated a percentage, the median was 25% and the highest was 65%. 21 of 22 brands ran at least one ad with an explicit discount; 1 ran none in this sample.
Where do these ads come from?
GoMarble's ad library, which indexes Meta (Facebook and Instagram) ads. We searched Black Friday and Cyber Monday ads that ran between 2025-10-25 and 2025-12-03, removed duplicates and capped each brand at four creatives.
Does this show which ads performed best?
No. Public ad libraries don't publish spend, impressions or sales, so nothing here ranks ads by results. Where we show variations, that's the number of ads reusing the same creative — a sign the brand invested in it, not proof it worked.
When are Black Friday and Cyber Monday in 2026?
Black Friday is Friday 27 November 2026 and Cyber Monday is Monday 30 November 2026.
Brand creative and copyright belong to their respective owners. Ads are shown for commentary and analysis.
